Ground Beef Taco Cabbage Skillet

A quick, low-carb taco-inspired skillet made with ground beef, tender cabbage, and bold seasonings—all in one pan.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ head green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade)
  • ½ cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, avocado, cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Cook the beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook ground beef with diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add cabbage and seasoning: Stir in cabbage, taco seasoning, and salsa. Cook for 5–7 minutes until cabbage is tender.
  3. Top with cheese: Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the mixture and cover until melted.
  4. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
