Layered Honeycrisp Apple Broccoli Salad

A crisp and refreshing salad layered with sweet apples, fresh broccoli, and a creamy dressing—perfect for potlucks or a healthy side dish.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Honeycrisp apples, chopped
  • 3 cups broccoli florets, chopped
  • ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds or chopped nuts
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled

For the Dressing:

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Make the dressing: Whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  2. Layer the salad: In a large bowl or trifle dish, layer broccoli, apples, red onion, cranberries, sunflower seeds, cheese, and bacon.
  3. Top with dressing: Pour the dressing evenly over the layers.
