Better Than Takeout Fried Rice

Skip delivery and make this easy, flavorful fried rice at home in just minutes! Loaded with veggies, eggs, and perfectly seasoned rice—it’s faster, cheaper, and better than your favorite takeout!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked, cold rice

  • 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup mixed frozen vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

  • 3 green onions, sliced

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

  • 1 tsp garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok. Scramble eggs, then set aside.

  2. Add garlic and veggies; cook 2–3 minutes.

  3. Stir in cold rice; cook until hot and slightly crispy.

  4. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well.

  5. Mix in scrambled eggs and green onions. Serve hot!
