Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches

A decadent treat with creamy cheesecake filling and sweet strawberries, fried to golden perfection for a crispy, indulgent dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of white bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Butter or oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Make the filling: Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and chopped strawberries in a small bowl.
  2. Assemble the sandwiches: Spread the cheesecake mixture onto 4 slices of bread and top with the remaining slices. Press edges to seal.
  3. Prepare the coating: In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg and milk. In another bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Fry the sandwiches: Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Finish: Remove from heat, immediately coat in cinnamon sugar, and serve warm.
